I've been found out...

Well, as a blogger.

In a previous post, and in a comment or two I noted I should tell my pastor about my blog.

Last Sunday at a Church picnic my Pastor's wife asked me point blank if I blogged. Well, as a Christian I'm not going to lie. Then my pastor asked if I was "Pilgrim."

Well that's what I get for commenting on his blog as Pilgrim, and linking to it.
(Plus we visit many of the same blogs, and I've left comments on them.)

Now I wasn't trying to hide anything, but I wanted to see how this blog thing would work before telling others.

Well I get way more visits than comments, but other bloggers say the same thing.
I'm not a regular blogger, but neither are a lot of bloggers I enjoy reading.
So how's it going?
Well enough I suppose, I get some very nice comments.
Although I will try to post more often.

Well enough about me, I think I'll go prepare a book review or something.
(And a list of others I should tell about this blog.)

Aw!! Sorry for 'callin' you out' man! ;^) But now it's cool to know who that "pilgrim guy" is on Challies! He always does have such good things to say! Hee hee!
We sat there thinking who on earth is this PCA guy in Western Canada!? You kept it a great mystery there for a while!

I now see blogging "in obscurity" as something like preaching week after week to a small group of people and not being downloaded or on iTunes. It's getting out there and being faithful in our own generation. Keep it up! Pilgrim's a great handle. We're reading Pilgrim's Progress out loud with the kids. We'll be watching your "progress." See you in the blogosphere and at church.

"See you in the blogosphere and at church."

So where were you today?

(Yes I know--you're on vacation.)

Connan did well.

I'll answer for him! We were told by some that we ought to skid-daddle and worship elsewhere so we could feel "on vacation." Shawn had met up with another pastor who lives here in Tuscany so we went to that church (though the pastor turned out to also be on vacation and not there! LOL!)
Say "hello" to your wife for me!!

So you’ve been outed! Ironic. Tonight I was actually toying with replacing “The Catechizer” with my real name and profile. I have another blog where I use my name. Part of the reason why I haven’t done so yet is because I was wondering if anyone was going to figure it out. (Have you figured it out? You’ve been to both.)

Will you be revealing your identity? I probably will once I can start bloging regularly again (I’ve moved to a different state, started a new, very demanding job, and am trying to sell my former house.) I look forward to seeing you blaze the trail!

Revealing my identity?
Not for the time being--but more people who know me will find out.

SO now I have to go through all the blogs I have bookmarked and see which ones have real names and see if I can figure out which one is yours...

I knew where you were (thank you, Sitemeter!), but not who or what church you went to. To be honest, I never knew why you were concerned about anonymity anyway, since the stuff you post isn't of a nature to get you dooced or anything.

Call it being paranoid if you want--but remember--just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not really out to get you!

Seriously though--it wasn't paranoia, just uncertainty, and hoping if people who knew read it they'd get an impresion of it not based on me (which may be a good or a bad thing.)

And yes I am aware if I comment on other's blogs they'll be able to find out where I blog from.

And while I state Western Canada at the top--there are enough references to narrow it down from there.

So now you know more about me.
